How to Request Deletion
You can request deletion of your mysipnotes account and all associated data by emailing us. We aim to process all deletion requests within 30 days.
- 1 Send an email to support@northvineconsulting.com from the email address associated with your mysipnotes account.
- 2 Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request — mysipnotes"
- 3 In the body of the email, confirm that you want your account and data permanently deleted. You may optionally include your display name to help us identify your account.
- 4 We will verify your identity by confirming the request came from the email address on file, then permanently delete your account and data within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.
What Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove the following data from our systems:

| Tasting notes & wine entries — wine names, ratings, tasting notes, and all other fields you entered | Permanently deleted from Firebase Firestore |
| Photos — wine label photos you uploaded | Permanently deleted from Firebase Cloud Storage |
| Voice notes / audio recordings — audio recordings attached to tasting entries | Permanently deleted from Firebase Cloud Storage |
| Location data — coordinates and place names attached to tasting entries | Permanently deleted along with the wine entries above |
| User profile — display name, profile photo, and app settings | Permanently deleted from Firebase Firestore |
What May Be Retained
A small amount of data may be retained after account deletion for legal, financial, or fraud-prevention purposes:

|---|---|
| Transaction records — records of subscription purchases processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store | Retained for up to 7 years as required for tax and accounting compliance. These records are held by Apple, Google, and RevenueCat; we do not retain your payment card details. |
| Anonymized purchase identifiers — RevenueCat may retain an anonymized, non-personally-identifiable identifier to prevent subscription fraud | Retained by RevenueCat per their own data retention policy. This cannot be linked back to you once your account is deleted. |
We do not sell your personal information, and no personally identifiable data is retained for advertising or marketing purposes after your account is deleted.
